š¾Autumn Walks, Cosy Paws & the Countdown to Pawfestivities š
Share
As the leaves turn golden and the air gets that crisp morning chill, autumn is officially here - and so is the season of muddy paws, pumpkin treats, and cosy evenings with your furry best friend.
This time of year isnāt just about Halloween costumes and hot chocolates - itās the perfect chance to get outdoors, explore, and enjoy some quality time with your pup before the festive season begins.
And with Pawfestivities just around the corner (29thā30th November), thereās plenty to look forward to
1. Autumn Adventures Await š
Autumn walks are a sensory paradise for dogs - new smells, crunchy leaves, and cooler weather that makes every outing a tail-wagging delight.
To make the most of your autumn strolls:
-
Pick scenic woodland trails or local parks bursting with colour.
-
Bring a towel and paw wipes - the mud is real this time of year!
-
Keep your dog visible with a reflective collar or light-up tag as the evenings get darker.
šø Donāt forget to tag #PawfestUK in your autumn walk photos - we love seeing your seasonal adventures!
2. Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice š
Youāre not the only one who deserves a treat this season!
Why not make your pup a pumpkin-inspired snack? Pumpkin is gentle on tummies and full of vitamins, making it a paw-some addition to homemade dog biscuits.
Try this simple recipe:
𦓠Mix puréed pumpkin, oat flour, and a spoon of peanut butter - roll into small treats and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.
Store them in a jar for post-walk snacks or training rewards.
3. Cosy Nights In (Because Who Doesnāt Love a Blanket Burrito?) šļø
As the nights draw in, thereās no shame in swapping long evening walks for sofa cuddles. Create a little autumn snug spot for your dog:
-
Add a soft blanket or heated pad near your sofa.
-
Pop on a calming playlist or film (we hear Homeward Bound is a classic).
-
Treat them to a chew or snuffle mat to keep their mind busy.
4. Save the Date for Pawfestivities! š
While youāre embracing the cosiness now, donāt forget to mark your calendars for the event of the season - Pawfestivities, returning this November!
Expect twinkly lights, festive stalls, Santa Paws photo ops, and plenty of tail-wagging fun for dogs of all shapes and sizes.
šļø Tickets go live 1st November, so keep an eye on our socials for the official launch - this oneās not to be missed!
