Let customers speak for us
from 164 reviewsWe had a truly lovely day out. Ava absolutely loved all the stalls (especially the free treats!) and all the great activities which we’re all perfect for a variety of dogs. Plenty of water stations and water zones to keep the dogs cool and shady areas too! Everyone was so friendly. Can’t wait for next year (hopefully this could be on more often than once a year!) 🥰🤩 thank you all
Much better than last year so well done to all those involved making it such a wonderful day. We have 2 cockapoos who had a fantastic time chasing the flag round the field and jumping over the haystacks. They were full up of treats from the lovely people on the dog stands and enjoyed a paddle in the dog sprinkler (it was a hot day) The dog competitions were fun but could I make a suggestion of having a fancy dress category and separating competition rings so spectators can walk round each one for a better view. Freebie bags were a lovely touch full of doggy treats . We will be back again next year.
Mabel (and us) had the best day! She loved meeting everyone and we thought it was great how spread out the areas were so there was space for dogs not to get overwhelmed. So many generous freebies and great people on the stalls, loved the bar for us too! Mabel got so much fuss, but it was a nice relaxing afternoon. We can’t wait for next year!
We had the best time at Pawfest this year, it is one of those events where everything just works. The sun was shining, the dogs were happy, and the vibe was so friendly and relaxed and the new layout we felt worked brilliantly as there was lots of room for the more nervous doggies.
There was loads to do, we loved the dog show (seriously adorable contestants), and picked up some fab treats and bits from the stalls. Everyone was so welcoming and clearly passionate about what they do, it really made the day feel special.
The setting at Betteshanger is always perfect too, loads of open space, easy parking, great food options, and plenty of shady spots when the dogs needed a break.
Huge shoutout to the organisers – it was well thought out, smoothly run, and just a genuinely lovely way to spend a weekend. We’ll 100% be back next year!
We loved coming back for the 3rd year and we just love pawfest we love how organised and well thought out it is and the staff are so friendly and Stacy is absolutely amazing and her team too and Marley and Oscar love coming to pawfest and we love supporting Stacy and her team there so much to do in one whole day so we always go both days we had an amazing weekend and make so many memories and one thing I do love is how much disability friendly there are for people with autism and adhd and all other disability out there they just so understanding and everything we can’t wait till the next time and another thing is there so understanding or nervous and anxious dogs too and everything and I loved the new layout this year to many more pawfest and memories I give a stars or 10,0000 /10,0000
My first time going and luckily the weather was beautiful. I loved that everything was spaced out so it never felt crowded
My only issue was that I paid for advance parking but where this was allocated was further away from the entrance, it would have been nicer if the advance parking spaces were closer to the entrance
Also as it was a really hot day some shaded areas would have been nice for the dogs to rest etc. I saw quite a few dogs sitting under chairs within the gazebos of people selling items. I know the weather is never guaranteed but a few pop up gazebos/tents or sails would have been nice
Such a great event and so well organised. Had to write a review just to say Special thanks to all those little details, We saw staff changing some bins super quietly and carefully lifting not to scare any dogs that can be noise sensitive with unusual noises- so grateful 👍
We had a great day, visiting for the first time after stumbling across an ad for Pawfest on social media. We aren’t local and had no idea what to expect but were very pleased.
Was lovely to attend something like this where everything was so spaced out, nothing worse than being squashed in and feel like you’re being hurried through by others .
The stallholders were lovely, every single one that we spoke to were just great. Any stalls we weren’t interested in, such as Butternut Box, we just didn’t engage with. And that’s fine, not all stalls are for everyone.
I would say it would’ve been nice to have a stall selling brushes or combs, just because we forgot ours and we could’ve used it to get our all the dry grass from the longer haired areas of our dog. Also it’s quite nice to promote coat maintenance and things but that’s just my personal opinion.
The space put up for shade was great and we took advantage of that throughout our visit.
We had no idea it was a family run event either and we have to say we really loved that element.
Can safely say we will be back!!
I have a young dog with bad joints; he's had his knees surgically repaired, but still has bilateral hip dysplasia and arthritis in his hocks, and is very anxious and understandably defensive of himself.
Last year, the feedback from me personally was that everything was very close together, so Cobber couldn't try the have a go activities due to proximity of other dogs. (Though we still had a lovely time shopping and it was great exposure training for him.)
This year was brilliant! Everything was spaced out really well, it was easy for me to see potential triggers coming and prepare him, there was plenty of space to just step back if needed without landing in a stream of people and dogs. The activities were nicely laid out, and lovely that they were free this year with no limit on the amount of times you could take part. Lovely to have the physio there as well to check him over after a run so I knew where he needed ice and massage when we got home.
An absolutely brilliant day, please do it like this again!
Amazing day and very well though out for the dogs- lots of space and water
Pawfest at Betteshanger was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend for dogs and their human companions! My dog Albert and I had an absolute blast participating in the many exciting activities on offer. One of Albert's favorite activities was taking a dip in the swimming pool, which was a perfect way to cool off and have some fun in the water. He also thoroughly enjoyed racing over the hay bales and playing in the ball pool.
Moreover, the variety of doggy treats available added an extra dose of excitement for Albert, as he got to sample delicious snacks throughout the day. We also enjoyed exploring the live demonstrations and shopping village, which offered unique experiences and items tailored to the interests of dog lovers.
Overall, Pawfest at Betteshanger is a must-visit event for dog lovers.
We had the BEST day! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Everything was so well planned out, it never felt cramped or stressful. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We tried out all the activities which Dude and his friends absolutely loved.
We picked up some delicious dog treats and us Humans had some great food too.
I really loved the memory spot 🖤
Keep up the good work. We look forward to coming again!
I went to pawfest today as a helper and I must say it was absolutely amazing loved meeting all the dogs and the people that run this amazing place!! For Pawfest 2026 there should be doggy photobooths and like a meet and greet area for followers to meet the ambassadors like Hugo and Millie etc shout out to Stacy Ruby Sam Tallula Lucas Ben and the amazing owners with the dogs 🐕 I would absolutely go back to this event again!!
From Brandon
This was the most amazing event from start to finish! The stalls were insane the people were friendly! The dogs were all lovely! It was such a calm event and no queues so you could get to everyone! No over crowding! No pressure to join into anything! Personally a lovely dog event!
Blue and us had the best day, so much to do and see. Blue had a blast especially running in The Lure!!☺️
Great to see so many furry friends and the sun was shining. Got great advice from the behaviourist🙂. Can't wait for the next paw fest!!!
